【摘要】:Thepourpointofapetroleumproductisanindexofthelowesttemperatureofitsutilityforcertainapplications.Flowcharacteristics,suchaspourpoint,canbecriticalforthecorrectoperationoflubricatingsystems,fuelsystems,andpipelineoperations.Petroleumblendingoperationsrequireprecisemeasurementofthepourpoint.Testresultsfromthistestmethodcanbedeterminedateither1or3x00B0;Cintervals.ThistestmethodyieldsapourpointinaformatsimilartoTestMethodD97orIP15,whenthe3x00B0;Cintervalresultsarereported.Note28212;SincesomeusersmaywishtoreporttheirresultsinaformatsimilartoTestMethodD97orIP15(in3x00B0;Cintervals)theprecisiondatawerederivedforthe3x00B0;Cintervals.ForstatementsonbiasrelativetoTestMethodD97orIP15,seetheresearchreport.ThistestmethodhascomparablerepeatabilityandbetterreproducibilityrelativetoTestMethodD97orIP15asmeasuredinthe1998interlaboratoryprogram(seeSection13).FIG.1SchematicofCooling/HeatingBlockandCoolingCirculatingBath1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepourpointofpetroleumproductsbyanautomaticinstrumentthattiltsthetestjartodetectmovementofthesurfaceofthetestspecimenwithanopticaldevice,afterbeingremovedfromaregulated,stepped-bathcoolingjacket.1.2Thistestmethodisdesignedtocovertherangeoftemperaturesfromx2212;57to+51x00B0;C;however,therangeoftemperaturesincludedinthe1998interlaboratorytestprogramonlycoveredthetemperaturerangefromx2212;51tox2212;11x00B0;C.1.3Testresultsfromthistestmethodcanbedeterminedateither1or3x00B0;Ctestingintervals.1.4Thistestmethodisnotintendedforusewithcrudeoils.Note18212;Theapplicabilityofthistestmethodonresidualfuelsampleshasnotbeenverified.Forfurtherinformationontheapplicability,referto13.4.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
