【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardappliestomachinesusedforhighwaymaintenancewhichareattachedtoormountedoncarriervehiclesandwhicharedefinedinclause3.Directivesandstandardsforthevehiculartruckchassisaspect,termed'carriervehicle'inthisstandard,wouldbethoserelevanttothatequipment,evenwherespecificmodificationshavebeenmadetoadaptthemachinesforhighwaymaintenanceapplication.Theuseinpublicroadtrafficisgovernedbythenationalregulations.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazardsidentifiedthroughariskassessmentpertinenttohighwaymaintenancemachines,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwithsignificanthazardsassociatedwithdeletedtextEMC.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheappropriatetechnicalmeasurestoeliminateorreducerisksarisingfromthesignificanthazardsassociatedwithmachineoperation,settingandadjustments,loaddischargeandroutinemaintenance.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotincluderequirementsforthecarriervehicles(e.g.trucks,tractors,constructionmachines,industrialtrucks)aswellastheirdemountablebodywork.Thesearecoveredindirectivesrelatedtotheconstructionofvehicles.Demountablebodyworksystemsarespecifiedinotherstandards.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwith:-walker-operatedanhand-heldmachines;-machinesforthemaintenanceofsportsgrounds;-machinesforagriculture,horticultureandforestry;-winter-servicemachines;-street-cleansingmachines,exceptsweepersincompliancewith3.9;-earth-movingmachinery;-pitandsewercleaningvehicles/-machines;-liftingplatforms;-refuse-collectingvehicles;-bridge-inspectionequipment;-loadingcranes;-wood-choppers(bushwoodchoppers).Amachinewhichisacombinationofseveralpartswithdifferentusesshouldconformtoallthestandardsreferringtothecorrespondingpartsofthemachine.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdealwiththerisksassociatedwiththeoperationofmachinesinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.ThisstandardappliestomachinesmanufacturedafterthedateofapprovalofthisstandardthroughCEN.
