【摘要】:Thedeterminationofthecreeprateprovidesinformationonthebehaviorofsandwichconstructionsunderconstantappliedforce.Creepisdefinedasdeflectionunderconstantforceoveraperiodoftimebeyondtheinitialdeformationasaresultoftheapplicationoftheforce.Deflectiondataobtainedfromthistestmethodcanbeplottedagainsttime,andacreepratedetermined.Byusingstandardspecimenconstructionsandconstantloading,thetestmethodmayalsobeusedtoevaluatecreepbehaviorofsandwichpanelcore-to-facingadhesives.Thistestmethodprovidesastandardmethodofobtainingflexurecreepofsandwichconstructionsforqualitycontrol,acceptancespecificationtesting,andresearchanddevelopment.Factorsthatinfluencethesandwichconstructioncreepresponseandshallthereforebereportedincludethefollowing:facingmaterial,corematerial,adhesivematerial,methodsofmaterialfabrication,facingstackingsequenceandoverallthickness,coregeometry(cellsize),coredensity,corethickness,adhesivethickness,specimengeometry,specimenpreparation,specimenconditioning,environmentoftesting,specimenalignment,loadingprocedure,speedoftesting,facingvoidcontent,adhesivevoidcontent,andfacingvolumepercentreinforcement.Further,facingandcore-to-facingstrengthandcreepresponsemaybedifferentbetweenprecured/bondedandco-curedfacesheetsofthesamematerial.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecreepcharacteristicsandcreeprateofflatsandwichconstructionsloadedinflexure,atanydesiredtemperature.Permissiblecorematerialformsincludethosewithcontinuousbondingsurfaces(suchasbalsawoodandfoams)aswellasthosewithdiscontinuousbondingsurfaces(suchashoneycomb).1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
