【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverfireextinguisherandboosterhosewithorwithoutcouplingsattached,insizesof3/8inch(9.5mm)uptoandincludinganominalinternaldiameterof1-1/2inches(38.1mm)foruseonportable,wheeled,andstationaryfireextinguishers,andalsoasboosterhoseonfireapparatus.Thishoseisintendedforuseatmaximumworkingpressureof200,250,400,600,800,1000,or1250psig(1.38,1.72,2.76,4.14,5.52,6.90,or8.62MPa).1.2Theserequirementsalsocoverhoseforuseonfireextinguishersrequiringcharacteristicsforlow-temperatureflexibilityatminus54°C(minus65°F).1.3Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthoseinusewhenthestandardwasdeveloped,andthatinvolvesariskoffire,electricshock,orinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingtheappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementsasdeterminednecessarytomaintainthelevelofsafetyfortheuseroftheproductasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.
