【摘要】:Propermeasurementsofthicknessanddensityofblanketorbattinsulationsareessentialfordeterminingthermalinsulationproperties.Foraparticularbattorblanketproduct,thicknessanddensityareusuallydirectlyrelatedtothermalinsulatingvalue.Thesetestmethodsareofsignificantvalueinmanufacturingqualitycontrol,toensurethatclaimedinsulationvaluesofproductsaremaintained.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthicknessanddensityofflexible,felted,orwoventhermalinsulatingblankets,rolls,orbattscomposedoffibrousmaterials,withorwithoutsurfacecoveringorreinforcement.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
