【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesamethodformeasuringtheresponseofmaterials,productsandassembliesexposedinverticalorientationtocontrolledlevelsofradiantheatingwithapilotedignitionsource.Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheignitability,heatreleaserates,masslossratesandvisiblesmokedevelopmentofmaterials,productsandassembliesunderwell-ventilatedconditions.Theheatreleaserateisascertainedbymeasurementoftheoxygenconsumptionasdeterminedbytheoxygenconcentrationandflowintheexhaustproductstreamasspecifiedin5.5.8.Smokedevelopmentisquantifiedbymeasuringtheobscurationoflightbythecombustionproductstream.Specimensareexposedtoheatingfluxesrangingfrom0kW/m2to50kW/m2.Hotwiresareusedastheignitionsource.Thistestmethodhasbeendevelopedformaterial,productorassemblyevaluations,mathematicalmodellinganddesignpurposes.Thespecimenshallbetestedinthicknessesandconfigurationsrepresentativeofactualendproductorsystemuses.ThetestmethodinthisInternationalStandardisbasedontheapparatusdescribedinASTME1623.
