【摘要】:Thefreezingpointofanaviationfuelisthelowesttemperatureatwhichthefuelremainsfreeofsolidhydrocarboncrystalsthatcanrestricttheflowoffuelthroughfiltersifpresentinthefuelsystemoftheaircraft.Thetemperatureofthefuelintheaircrafttanknormallyfallsduringflightdependingonaircraftspeed,altitude,andflightduration.Thefreezingpointofthefuelmustalwaysbelowerthantheminimumoperationaltanktemperature.FreezingpointisarequirementinSpecificationsD910andD1655.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetemperaturebelowwhichsolidhydrocarboncrystalsmayforminaviationturbinefuelsandaviationgasoline.Note1Theinterlaboratoryprogramthatgeneratedtheprecisionsforthistestmethoddidnotincludeaviationgasoline.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see5.4,Section6,and8.2.
