【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversheat-treatedcarbon-manganese-siliconsteelplatesintendedforuseinweldedpressurevesselsatmoderateandlowertemperatureservice.2.Materialunderthisspecificationisavailableinfourstrengthlevels,75ksi[515MPa],85ksi[585MPa],80ksi[550MPa],and90ksi[620MPa]minimumultimatetensilestrengths.1.3Themaximumthicknessofplatesislimitedonlybythecapacityofthechemicalcompositionandheattreatmenttomeetthespecifiedmechanicalpropertyrequirements;however,currentpracticenormallylimitsthemaximumthicknessofplatesfurnishedunderthisspecificationto6in.[150mm]forGradeA,4in.[100mm]forGradeB,and6in.[150mm]forGradeC.ForGradesDandE,themaximumpermittednominalthicknessis1.5in.[40mm].1.4GradeAisthematerialthat,priorto1984,wascoveredbySpecificationA738withoutagradedesignation.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
